Jacqueline Fernandez hails from Manama in Bahrain. She grew up within a multiethnic household. Jacqueline's parents are Malaysian and Sri Lankan. Her father Elroy Fernandez comes from Sri Lanka. In her teens she played in national championships of badminton at both the regional and international level. She later quit the sport to pursue a career as a designer. Padukone has Mangalorean origins and speaks Konkani as her mother tongue. Padukone is located situated in Kundapura Taluk located in Udupi located in Karnataka State of India, is where her lineage is derived from. Prakash Padukone is her father and was a badminton player of international fame. Her mother is an agent of travel.
